York Shodokan Aikido Club is now in it's 25th year.  We have 6 qualified black belt coaches who are all accredited by the British Aikido Board (BAB).

Latest News:​

 

​We have relocated our Thursday class to Fulford School Sports Centre. This is only two miles from the city centre and close to York University.  The hall is purpose built and brand new with a sprung floor and ample room to store the mats.This is an excellent move for the club offering future development for adults, juniors and university students. Note that the starting time on a Thursday is now 19:00.  Tuesdays and Sundays are still at the Railway Institute as per the times listed.

We want Aikido to be an open and inclusive sport, so people who are interested in Aikido are always welcome to come along and try a session.  Bring some comfortable cloths and a bottle of water if you want to train, or if you just want to watch the first time then that's ok.

We run adult/student classes 3 times per week and a kids club once per week, as below:​
