At Shodokan Aikido York we aim to have fun whilst teaching the authentic Aikido learned directly from Tetsuro Nariyama Shihan, Technical Director of the Japan Aikido Association. He was the principle student of Kenji Tomiki who founded sports Aikido and was, in turn, a senior student of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.
Aikido is great for improving self confidence and learning self defence whilst keeping healthy.

- After the world championships, Rob is now officially in the top 8 in the world! If you wanted to be trained by a world class randori player, come and join up!
Two new photos galleries of a typical session and the June dan grade grading are up for your viewing pleasure.
- Club hoodies: They feature the club's coat of arms on the front and the kanji for Aikido in white on the back. For only £40, you too can have one! See Yann with cash!
- No classes on the two weeks around Christmas, on bank holidays and on Easter Monday.
